New look Macclesfield cruised past struggling Kidderminister to kick start their promotion challenge.
Their two new signings, Danny Swailes and David Morley, formed a powerful axis at the back to snuff out the opposition forward threat.
Only once did the visitors threaten in the danger area when in the 11th minute Dean Keates met a Lee Jenkins cross with a powerful downward header.
Keeper Alan Fettis acrobatically palmed the ball up but Gary Birch fluffed the resulting free header from underneath the bar.
Macclesfield responded in the 17th minute when new skipper Matthew Tipton controlled a raking long pass from Michael Welch with one touch before lifting the ball over the advancing John Danby for his seventh goal of the season.
The Silkmen doubled their lead on 54 minutes when Tipton picked out strike partner John Parkin who netted his 16th of the season with a clinical six-yard header to the opposite corner.
It might have been three on 57 minutes, but Kevin McIntyre's rampaging run and shot was bravely blocked by Danby.
Tipton then tested Danby as he moved in off the right wing before hitting a low left-foot shot which was tipped inches wide.
Parkin then saw a looping header brilliantly cleared off the line by a Johnny Mullins' scissor kick.
Kidderminster's miserable afternoon was compounded when Jenkins was sent off for a crude foul on McIntyre in the dying moments.
