Macclesfield will be without striker Ricky Sappleton who is still struggling with a knee problem.Midfielder Richard Butcher is out for up to a month with medial ligament damage and will also miss out.

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy will assess the fitness of defender Paul Scott and midfielder Garry Hunter ahead of the tie with the Silkmen.

Hunter and Scott have both been suffering with an illness and may not be risked.
