Macclesfield Town have rejected two formal bids from fellow League Two side Morecambe for full-back Izak Reid.The 23-year-old's contract at Moss Rose ends this month but he has been offered a new two-year deal to stay on.

"Izak has a two-year deal on the table from Macc and he's very much a part of Gary's plans," chairman Mike Rance told the club's website.

"We recognise however that he's out of contract at the end of June and we fully understand that he has options."

If Reid does move to the Globe Arena without a transfer fee being agreed between the clubs, then an amount will be set by a tribunal.
